[ ABOUT ] [ FRATERNITY FACTS ] [ FAQ ]

Delta Tau Upsilon is THE most prestigious fraternity on Capital’s campus. Our organization has been decorated with numerous awards and praise from the school’s administration. Some awards DTU has accumulated over the last few years:

Highest Involvement on Campus
Outstanding Male in a Greek Organization
Best New Member Education Program
5-Star Chapter Award

The fraternity incorporates over 20 people and hundreds of alumni. Current members make their presence known well – the brothers are involved in all facets of campus life, including Residence Life, Athletics (Soccer,Football, Track, etc.), Orientation, and Greek Council.

DTU is also extremely busy throughout the year throwing parties for the campus students and helping the community around us through service projects. These include Habitat for Humanities and donations to Children’s Hospital.

The BIGGEST party of the year, Buffalo Bash, is thrown by DTU in the second semester. More than 900 people attend every year! The fraternity provides bussing, security, and even supplies a liquor license so that everyone can party the safest way possible. DTU also throws numerous fraternity room and house parties each semester, as well as parties with sororities, and formals to places like Windsor, Canada.

Born to Run, the largest and last on-campus event open to all students, is also sponsored by DTU. Every year on Reading Day, hundreds of naked co-eds streak across campus to relieve the stress of exams.
